Jon Fertenbaugh goes to Comix Connection because of their amazing and friendly customer service and selection.

He writes:

My local shop is called Comix Connecition in Mechanicsburg, PA. It’s been my shop since I started collecting comics in the early 90′s and one of the best shops I’ve ever been to. All the staff are really great and friendly, the selection is top notch and they will always help you find hard to get issues, and the sales and special events are always awesome. Whenever I travel I always try to check out local shops. I’ve been to Salt Lake and visited Dr. Volt’s and Back Cat Comics, both of which are nice, but I always check Comix Connection when I get home to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

If that wasn’t enough reason to check out Comix Connection, John shared with us this story:

On a personal note the guys at Comix Connections helped me out with the decorations for my wedding,. I’m getting married to my nerdly lady in October and she wanted to have comics be a big part of our the theme for our decorations. I bought a few issues out of the 2 for $0.99 bin and I was having a hard time reconciling my love of comics with my need to destroy comics for awesome decorations. I mentioned this off-handed to my Wednesday comic purveyor, Joe, and he promptly went to the back and gave me a huge stack of returns that were going to be destroyed anyway to do with as I pleased. Now I have tons of paper garlands, collages, and other fancy pants arts and crafts made out of various issues of Green Lantern, Batman Inc., and S.H.A.D.E. Everything looks really great without me having to feel too bad about destroying something I love. Needless to say it was super awesome of them and just reinforces the need to spend money at cool places like Comix Connection that actually care about there customers.
